With leading-edge Amtelco answering system technology, an impressive record of award-winning service to a wide variety of industries, including the legal profession, Santa Cruz Answering Service developed Answer4Law™ so that small one or two attorney law offices could provide clients with the same high level of live receptionist services as the large law firms they compete with, at rates they can afford.

At Answer4Law™, all of our plans include virtual receptionist services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We answer the phone professionally, and based on your instructions, we will take messages, schedule appointments, provide status information about your availability, or put the caller through directly to you the attorney when so directed by you.

Messages to our attorney clients can be delivered via email, fax, text message to a cell phone, or recorded for voice check in. All calls are logged and recorded. Messages, call logs, and call recordings are retained for at least one year.

We also offer a web interface our attorney clients can log into 24/7 to update their status, receive and respond to messages, schedule appointments, and block out time for other activities, using their own online calendar.

A recent system upgrade has elevated our security to a higher level than ever before. All of our systems are secured against both physical and network based intrusion, and our operators receive extensive training on confidentiality.

Virtual Receptionist Services

  • Packages include up the indicated number of minutes of operator time.
  • Unlimited local, interstate (CA), and intrastate outbound calls used to put callers through to client office or cell phones.
  • Usage is evaluated quarterly and packages automatically adjusted based on the prior quarters average usage.
  • One Extra Minute Pack adds 25 minutes per month to any of the base packages.

Automated Voice Services

The following automated voice services can be added to any Answer4Law™ virtual receptionist package.

  • Auto Attendant with Receptionist: calls are answered by an auto attendant. The caller can leave a message in the main voice mail, press an extension to leave a message for an individual, or press 0 to speak with the receptionist.
  • Timed voicemail/auto attendant: during office hours calls are automatically routed to a receptionist; after hours calls are routed to voicemail or an auto attendant as described above.

I opened a one-person, solo practitioner law office in January, 1995, in the beautiful Branciforte Plaza office building.
